In a surprising turn, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will serve for two terms in office.
Governor Eno made the statement on Tuesday during the flag-off ceremony for the Akwa Ibom segment of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project.
His remarks have stirred political debate, as they appear to clash with the PDP’s stated goal of reclaiming the presidency in the 2027 general elections.
